What size hula hoop is best for beginners?

Most beginners find a hoop around 100cm in diameter easiest to control. Larger hoops spin more slowly, giving you more time to react, while smaller hoops are better for faster moves and tricks.

How much should my weighted hula hoop weigh?

For beginners, a hoop between 0.9kg and 1.2kg is ideal as it is heavy enough for momentum, but light enough to avoid strain. Check out our hoops here:

How do I start using a weighted hula hoop?

Begin with 1-3 minute sessions to let your body adapt. Keep your feet hip-width apart, knees soft, and push from your core rather than twisting your hips.

Why does my weighted hula hoop keep falling down?

This is usually due to hoop size, speed, or movement style. A slightly larger/heavier hoop can help, along with a steady rocking motion to keep the hoop spinning.

What are the benefits of weighted hula hooping?

Weighted hula hooping can improve core strength, posture, balance, coordination, and cardiovascular fitness while being a fun, low-impact workout.
